--A Registered CharityThe Training Centre is the only training agency in Ontario that provides specialized training to individuals that work exclusively with the homeless population, producing two calendars annually, providing over 120 workshops in a wide range of subject areas including: standardized and specialized training for those working with homeless individuals and families; upgrading working skills for hostel/shelter staff; standardized training for Shelter Standards Training, First Aid, CPR, WHMIS and Crisis Intervention Training; the Hostels Training Centre Certificate Programs and innovative education for recognized needs and trends.
